Group CEO & Chairman of the Board
Johan is a Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Specialist with a passion for alignment and integration. He has +18 years technical IT experience and +9 years Management experience. Johan has extensive experience in crafting and delivering Data Warehousing and ODS solutions including ETL, Data modelling and Metadata. He is highly skilled in Cognos Business Intelligence development tools, and Enterprise Business Intelligence methodologies, as well as Data Quality Management.
Managing Director & Executive Board Member
Frans has +20 years’ experience in IT Hardware and Software environments with extensive experience in all phases of software solution design, development, implementation and Project Management. He has +12 years’ experience in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Performance Management and Data Warehousing. Frans has a personal focus on, and passion for Strategic Management. He is an experienced feature and keynote speaker, and has spoken at numerous events globally. He was the founder of the IBM BA Architecture Work Group that developed the architectures for all the IBM BA products and solutions, and he initiated many new developments and product improvements at IBM.
Madelein de Beer
Director & Divisional Manager - Datasignis
Madelein has 20 years’ experience as a proven Data Management and BI specialist with extensive experience across various industries. She has a strong Data Warehouse background and has managed many large Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse implementation projects, from initial strategy development through to the completion of the delivery phase across many of the Data Management functional areas such as Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Migration, Master Data Management etc. Madelein is a certified Six Sigma resource and uses best practices to define and implement new and improved business processes.
Madelein is dedicated to understanding her clients needs whilst at the same time providing the information and guidance required to ensure the best possible solution delivery.
Jac is academically qualified in Science and in Business Leadership with more than half a century’s amazing achievements in the private and public sectors. He has decades of hands-on Corporate Management and IT experience, and is a recognized champion in inventive problem solving and innovation methodologies. Jac’s passion is to train, mentor, coach, and facilitate problem solving workshops for managers and technologists confronted with complex problems.
Ruan de Beer
Divisional Manager - Intellisignis
Ruan has +24 years experience as a proven IT specialist in Software development, IT and Project Management. Ruan has a PRINCE2 Project Management qualification and holds a major in Accounting. He has extensive experience in Business Analyics, Data Analytics, specialising in Predictive Maintenance and Quality, Risk and Fraud analytics and Predictive Customer Intelligence, as well as Data Warehouse Design and implementation. He has developed extensive BI roadmaps and strategies. Ruan further specialises in Data Visualization related tools and techniques like Tableau, and has successfully completed a Tableau accreditation.
Danie de Kock
An entrepreneur at heart, Danie successfully ran his own Financial Advisory business, providing financial services to Sanlam, PPS, Liberty Life and Momentum. Danie completed numerous financial and Marketing Programs including the Board Exam for Financial Advisor in South Africa. After 13 years in the financial world Danie joined the Praesignis team in April 2016 as Tableau Sales Executive.
Divisional Manager - Talentsignis
Karin provides her customers with sustainable end-to-end performance management solutions that will enable them to increase performance and profitability throughout their organizations. Karin is accredited by APSO (Association of Personnel Services Organization) and has been in the recruitment industry for over 19 years. She specializes in Information Management, Business Intelligence, Training, Recruitment, IT, Executive, Industrial, Engineering, Financial, Manufacturing, Office Staff, Technical , Government and Medical placements as well as Business Development, HR Coaching, Recruitment and Selection Management. Divisional Manager - Edusignis
Phillané is a qualified teacher and has +7 years experience in training high school students and young adults, as well as facilitating and assessing for and private companies. Phillané has a natural inclination to mentor and runs the company’s Internship and Skills Development Programme. She is passionate about training and finds it extremely rewarding to pass on her knowledge, developing and transferring skills to anyone willing to learn challenging yet much needed skills. Phillané aims to train and assist her students with gaining the industry skills and confidence they need to be successful in their chosen careers.
Liesl is a skilled marketing specialist with a successful track record +17 years’ experience in the Marketing industry. She has extensive exposure to end to end Marketing, Events and Cause Marketing, including, digital marketing, campaign development, brand development, and social media management. Liesl’s unique creative ideas and ability to conceptualise and develop comprehensive, well rounded marketing campaigns are her core strengths. She has the ability to market and build a brand, achieving great successes in attaining market presence and brand affinity.
Marjorie has 2 years’ Human Resources experience in employee engagement and communication and plays a pivotal role as a point of contact between departments and employees. She maintains and ensures constant updates on labour related policies and procedures and ensures the enforcement and adherence of these policies by advising and monitoring all employees. Marjorie assists with the implementation of effective assessment, performance, promotions and retention of employees and manages the maintenance and updates of employee records and related human resources systems, including payroll processes, leave tracking and approvals as well as employee benefits records. Last but not least Marjorie assists with the development and planning of new employees’ induction and on boarding processes.
Business Development Executive
As a skilled Business Development professional, June has more than 15 years’ experience working in both the Corporate and Public sector. Her past experience in various industries, occupying roles such as Customer Relations Management, Key Account Management, Sourcing and Business Development professional, renders her uniquely qualified to penetrate and on-board new clients, as well as the selling additional products/solutions and services to existing clients. Her dynamic and outgoing personality is one of her greatest strengths. She is able to cultivate strong relationships with high level executive management, forging networks between client and sales/technical consultants to facilitate business development. She is a persuasive communicator, able to speak to clients in terms they understand, thus building the case for the brand she represents. Demonstrated track record in assessing the needs of potential and existing clientele allowing her to come up with innovative and creative strategies and solutions.
Tanya de Kock
Tanya has +6 years ‘experience in company administration. Her hands-on systemic approach to administrative tasks ensure that the office runs smoothly. As the Compliance Manager, Tanya ensures that all Praesignis business processes are conducted in full compliance with all national and international laws and regulations as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards. Tanya plays a crucial role in keeping the company’s business dealings ethically sound as well as instituting practices that will ensure the highest possible level of compliance.

Albert is a young and vibrant all-rounder finance professional with a wealth of experience, having worked in the Information Technology, Hospitality, Motor and Tobacco industries. His areas of expertise are corporate finance management, corporate governance, financial accounting, reporting and analysis, taxation just to mention a few. Albert is well focused in meeting organizational goals and objectives.
