Learnerships

This learnership is designed to equip individuals with the foundational knowledge, practice skills, and workplace experience needed to enter the growing field of Data Science.

Candidates are screened, interviewed and selected based on several criteria. Our programme contains the following:

• 6 months data science practitioner theory and practical skills.
• 3 months AWS re/Start (Cloud Foundation) with certification.
• 3 months workplace experience.

Application Criteria:

• Citizenship: You must be a South African citizen.
• Age: You are between the ages of 18 and 29 years.
• Education: You have a minimum qualification of NQF Level 4, including Mathematics.
• Employment Status: You are currently unemployed and not enrolled in any other learnership, internship, or formal training.
• Tech Readiness: You are computer literate and have had some exposure to coding.
• Language Proficiency: You can read, write, and speak in English.
• Assessment: You are able to pass a basic academic assessment.
• Learning Commitment: You are willing and able to learn new software and tools.
• Availability: You can attend full-time classes and participate actively in the programme for the entire 12-month duration.
• Commitment: You are ready to make a meaningful commitment to your personal and professional development.

Note: A monthly stipend will be paid to successful candidates for the duration of the learnership.
